Actioning this workshop is Tina and Frank Micali! Come along as they share the secrets behind the success of Franky & Co, blending Tina’s marketing finesse and Frank’s multifaceted career in sales, sports, and sponsorship.

Tina, armed with over 15 years in the Marketing industry, initially carved her path at Double Day Australia and later contributed significantly to Pinpoint Marketing, Mastercard Loyalty Solutions, and Zenith Payments. Graduating with First Class Honours in Marketing from The University of Sydney, Tina’s expertise in rewards and incentives programs has spanned across finance, telecommunications, media, and technology sectors. In 2016, she co-launched Franky & Co with Frank, managing to balance her time at Zenith Payments while nurturing the growth of the café chain. As the business flourished, Tina transitioned to focus on Franky & Co full time in 2018, particularly enhancing its online presence.

Frank’s journey is equally inspiring, with a diverse career spanning roles in retail, sales, marketing, sponsorship, and partnership management. His early success in the sales world of technology with roles at Harvey Norman, Brother, and Trend Micro paved the way for a career change in 2011, when his passion for rugby league led him to a role in the strength and conditioning team at West Tigers and eventually opening his own gym.

Frank’s fusion of sales and sports experience continued as he ventured into sponsorship roles at Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, The West Tigers, Penrith Panthers, and Brydens Lawyers, successfully managing various sponsorships and partnerships. In 2016, Frank, alongside Tina, launched Franky & Co with a vision that transcended its humble beginnings. The café chain has since burgeoned into 22 franchised sites across Sydney, Central Coast, and Newcastle, supported by a centralized distribution center and commercial kitchen.
