The Brave Project, spearheaded by The Canterbury of Bankstown Chamber of Commerce (CBCC), is a community-driven initiative providing essential wrap-around skills and opportunities aimed at South-West and Western Sydney CALD women who want to return to work. In this Workshop, you’ll be covering legal rights and entitlements of employees returning to work, as well as legal considerations for employees dealing with staff returning to work.

About the Facilitator:

 

Introducing Mona Chiha, a potent figure of dynamism and innovation in the financial industry. Her journey, commencing in 2009, charts a course of notable achievements in the field of finance technology, effectively disrupting longstanding norms and heralding a new era for aspiring female leaders.

Benefitting from a multifaceted background spanning credit lending, business analysis, digital commerce, and litigation funding, she has successfully established three fintech enterprises, demonstrating her distinct aptitude for innovation. In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, she holds a seat on the board of OneMaronite, a testament to her expansive vision and commitment to philanthropy.

Mona consistently seeks to surpass conventional boundaries, continuously innovating to offer exceptional financial services to her clients. The industry has recognised her untiring dedication and hard work, marking her as a finalist in the 2022 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards and bestowing upon her the notable title of Business of the Year from Canterbury Bankstown Chambers of Commerce in 2022.

Away from her professional pursuits, she remains committed to personal development. She is currently undertaking a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Technology Sydney, signifying her enduring commitment to the acquisition of knowledge and self-improvement.
